Large bags, coolers, backpacks, and the like are usually the things that get banned. Different stadiums will have different variations of policies, but everyone can agree to this – clear bags are the future.
Specific Policies of Major Stadiums
Dodger Stadium Bag Policy
Clear game day bags below 12" x 12" x 6" and clutch purses smaller than 5” x 8” x 2” are allowed. Diaper bags, for adults and children are also allowed. No other bags will be permitted.
SoFi Stadium Bag Policy
No larger than clear bags below 12" x 12" x 6"; non-clear clutch bags must be below 4" x 6". Diapers and essential medical bags are exempt but subject to inspection. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (1 Ziploc bag or similar) are allowed. Bag policy may change per event at SoFi Stadium so reference the "Know Before You Go" in your pre-event email before the event.
Yankee Stadium Bag Policy
Each person can bring in one soft-sided bag not exceeding 16" x 16" x 8". No hard-sided bags or coolers will be permitted and inspections will be conducted. Bag-bins will be available at the entrance and all items must be able to fit in them without adjustment or modification.
MetLife Stadium Bag Policy
Clear bags are allowed but cannot exceed 12" x 6" x 12". Non-clear bags must not be larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Guests can also bring in a one-gallon Ziploc bag. Exceptions can be made for items that are medically necessary but thorough searches will be conducted.
Nissan Stadium Bag Policy
Nissan Stadium has a stricter rules as they follow NFL clear bag policy. This means that each person can only bring in clear bag sized at or lesser than 12" x 6" x 12". The bag must be clear including diaper bags.
Guests can also bring in 4.5” x 6.5” non-transparent bags but will not be allowed to bring in any non-transparent bigger than that and are not allowed to fold in bags that were not approved into approved ones. Fans advised not to bring bags at all but there are lockers for disallowed items at gates three and nine; prices start from $10.
Busch Stadium Bag Policy
All bags, purses, and soft-sided coolers sized 10" x 8" x 10" and less are allowed. Diaper bags and bags containing medically necessary equipment will be allowed after a search. You can also bring in strollers but make sure you stow it away under your seat where it cannot obstruct other guests.
Gillette Stadium Bag Policy
Only allows clear bags measuring at or under 12" x 12" x 6", one-gallon clear, plastic freezer bag under 11” x 11’, and small wristlets and purses not exceeding 6.5” x 4.5”.
Note: Diapers and essential medical bags are exempt but subject to inspection for all stadiums above.
