Screen Printing: This method involves the liquid ink being pushed through a stencil and is then cured in an oven. Each color is printed separately with its own stencil. The main use of screen printing is in medium to long run printing on tote bags. This method of decoration is best suited for larger orders with a few colors in the design. This method works on 100% cotton garments and 50/50 blend garments. Blank tote bags for screen printing can be considered as it is an inexpensive process.
Digital Printing: This process involves spraying a liquid ink by a computer controlled print head. This method reproduces the full range of colors in just one step. Digital Printing method is best suited for multicolor designs, short print runs and for samples. This method works only on 100 % cotton and is not as durable as screen printing.
